What I don’t like is a close family member judging my character and having false assumptions about my character which isn’t true. It just hurts your heart ❤️ especially if you have been kind and loving majority of the time in their lives. Or they bring up your past mistakes and throw it in your face, when they themselves have a lot to work on and mistakes they have also done. But, I’m learning not to waste energy clarifying my character to them. I think what you said is right. Allow them to think what they want of you and continue growing in your own journey. ❤

I'm almost 24 years old and my mom and grandma both still tell me to brush my teeth, when to go shower, and whatever idea that I present is considered childish and naieve but their advice or ideas must be regarded with the level of importance as a thesis or Gods word😂😂😂

I love this!🎉🎉 all emotions are valid and important, they bring great information to us, and help us to be aware of things. The point is to learn how to express them, and create containers if we need to for processing, with others are alone. And learning how to move through them, and release them in ways that are healthy for us and everyone around us! It’s funny, just before I saw the short, I was listening to a Heidi Priebe video where she’s talking about befriending heartbreak. And treating situations in our life that society tells us just to shut down around, or move through as quick as possible. When we instead create an intentional connection with things that are normally uncomfortable or unpleasant, such as loss and heartbreak, we actually gain more clarity and authenticity, and more wholeness. We know who we are better, and what we value and why. What we love and why! The reality is, everything Comes and goes. We can’t think about that all the time, knowing that we’re gonna die, and so will everybody else or we will lose it. But accepting it at a fundamental level will allow us to be much more healthy and balanced.❤❤❤

My manager blames her mom for her problems. She labels her mom as narcissistic and not taking responsibility for what happened in her childhood. She gets really angry sometimes and has now fixated her anger on a colleague who she is now labelling as narcissistic because she ‘reminds me of my mom.’ I have not been able to respond to her constant ranting about her mom but now I have an idea. Thank you💕

Thank you Julia. I lived for years expecting acceptance from my family;mother and siblings. It has taken me years to realize that I am myself. I am what people/family want me to be. It started after marrying a woman that they could not approve of. Instead, I have lived being gas lit from left, right and center. You education here is for me. I suffered childhood trauma. Now, I want to just be. Just who i am. No justification,no validation,no accetance, nothing. Thank you

Versions of perfect are in clever disguise of a judge,a critic or just someone with a higher standard. Then there's the imperfect version of those who believe you are better than they are. This proving there's no pleasing this world which it's foundation was founded on imperfection. Best to live with yourself that includes your flaws and work around others with what they have.
